As part of her MA degree, Hungarian graphic designer and illustrator Barbara Bernát, decided to redesign the current artwork and imagery that adorns the national currency in her country.
Rather than former Kings, Princes and politicians she’s replaced them with European animals alongside elements from their natural environments.
The larger the denomination on the note, the bigger the animal she’s depicted. Each note and corresponding scene is the equivalent in size and value as actual Euro banknotes.
Whilst her designs are purely conceptual, there’s no denying they would certainly be a popular choice amongst those who would use them daily.
