German drummers extraordinaire 'The Drums Mafia' (who gleefully describe themselves as "5 tactful crooks who spread their rapid forays into percussive soundscapes no fear or terror") recently posted a quite stunning clip titled 'The Puppeteer' which showcases not only their drumming techniques but true showmanship as well.
Choreographed around 5 individual drummers, each plays the role of musician, actor and performer across 4 mesmerising minutes of rhythms and syncopated beats.
Even if you're not a huge fan of drumming, you can to admire the sheer level of complexity on display - countless hours of practice and seemingly endless rehearsals clearly went into producing their sterling effort.
