American illustrator Albert F. Montoya has an on-going series in which he reimagines iconic pop culture and cartoon characters as gruesome zombies.
In his illustrations, Bart Simpson, Batman, Yoda and the cast from Adventure Time are transformed into evil, brain-dead creatures.
With their rotting flesh and horrific appearances, they are a far cry from the cute or heroic characters you see on-screen.
